This is a great lounger for our newborn. It offers a safe flat sturdy place for baby to rest. It has support pillows so baby doesn’t roll around and the toy bar is great so our baby can play while lounging.

To begin with, this is so perfect for a to be mommy. This is very convenient because you can take it everywhere. You can use it from newborn until a few months later. It is very comfortable and safe for babies that can’t rollover. It comes with a carry case to keep it clean while traveling.

After assembling several pieces of nursery furniture, it’s nice not to have to assemble this playful retreat baby nest by Skip Hop! It comes in very convenient packaging. When my family and I went to my parent’s house last weekend, I put the baby nest back in its plastic enclosure and put it in the trunk. The material is very durable! It’s comfy, yet firm. I really like how the baby nest “grows” with your baby. Once your baby reaches 6 months, you can take out the inner support, allowing for more room. I would’ve liked to see a cute design on the outer fabric portion. I know this doesn’t affect the product, but I’m all about patterns and designs. Whether you’re having a baby, or have a newborn, I highly recommend you have this item in your nursery!

I love that it feels solid and allows the baby to grow with it by removing the insert. This lounger is perfect for trips to visit our family. It travels well and I am so impressed with it. I got this for use visiting friends and family and it has proven itself invaluable, it truly is a nest! Well made, firm foam padding provides a safe, comfy spot for baby to spend supervised time on thier back. A detachable insert holds and supports small infants, take it out when baby is a little bigger. A soft arch extends over the top with a cute little plush shooting star for baby to look at, and two loops for you to hang your toys of choice. It is great to bring with when visiting people as it is portable and comes with a carrying case to keep it clean. ( I put a changing pad in it and use for diapering when traveling as it helps hold my little stinker in one place and provides a clean, more private spot ) Great gift for new parents!
