Kid 2-Piece Dinosaur Loose Fit Pajamas

Carters is now an absolute joke. This particular item is supposed to be glow in the dark. I washed in cold, dried on low and the glow layer peeled completely off. It was all hanging off the shirt, I had to sit there with my son peeling it off. As you can imagine he was thrilled! Not only is it rare now to get anything cotton from Carter's but the quality in recent years has taken a nose dive. To say the least. Hard no.

Glow layer started peeling in sections after first wash. Touching the peeled material when folding the pjs after washing made my skin itch. I will not put them on my son. Very surprised and disappointed as we have bought over 100 pairs of Carter pjs over the years. Previously was the only brand I would buy.

The outer layer of the screen print comes off in pieces after a single wash and low heat dry. The print is small criss-cross pattern and peels in incredibly small pieces. I reached out to carters customer service with no response for a week. Pictures below on the peeling print.

I’ve never had any issues with Carter’s so I’m genuinely shocked. One wash and the flimsy plastic that was for some reason all over the shirt came off like this. For smaller kids this would obviously be a health hazard.
