Toddler Girl Embroidered Peplum Top in Floral Print - Green

I love Otter Avenue. I've bought a bunch of things for my son, and my daughter is finally old enough to fit in their clothes. I got this top for her birthday. I was honestly worried because I have to size down for my son as all the clothes seem to be huge. For reference my son is 2.5 and in the 98th percentile for height and 92nd for weight. I get him 3-4t and I've had to size down to 2t in Otter Avenue clothing. I purchased this top in the smallest size available (12 months) and hoped it wouldn't be too big. It was tiny. My daughter has a longer torso, this is why I felt 12 months would probably be okay for her. Well, it didn't even come to her belly button. The top is well made, soft fabric, with buttons up the back but there's no give. She could barely move her arms! And she's not a chunky baby. She's tall and thin (30th percentile in weight), yet the arm holes were so tight and the top so short it was digging into her under arms. Needless to say, I returned the top and ended up not purchasing it again. Otter Avenue isn't cheap and it's never on sale. It wasn't worth it to me to spend money on shipping plus $20+ on a single top she will out grow immediately with how the sizing seems to work.
