Love the pjs , hate the smell
Like everyone says, these pjs have a weird smell. Kind of like old, cheap bandaids to me. Have washed them a few times now and the smell stays. Still put them on because they are so soft and comfy, just wish they didn’t smell strange.

Very soft but awful smell!
The fabric and design are super soft and nice, but there is a smell that lingers. It smells like burnt hair or burnt plastic. I have washed the garment multiple times and the smell still lingers.

Fabric smelled toxic
This item smelled strongly of burnt plastic likely after a run through the dryer, even on the delicate cycle. The design is excellent but the material made it unwearable. Such a shame!

Terrible smell
I bought two of these because I love the purely soft line but these are so terrible. They smell so bad it’s disgusting.

Smells toxic
Smells bad like hair dye / burnt something. Made me very uncomfortable and concerned of what was in the fabric. Smell does not come out in wash. Disappointed with Carters.
