Good for casual wear
These are great for walking in/out in cold weather. They would not work for playing in the snow!

Loved these. My toddler went thru a phase right before winter where she was putting her socks on as mittens. Not sure why but I bought these immediately once I saw them at the store knowing she was going to love them for the cold season
