My payment isn't going through    

A few common causes — and how to fix each: 

Card declined — Your bank may have flagged the charge, especially if it’s a new or unfamiliar merchant. Call the number on the back of your card and ask them to approve the transaction, then try again. 

Billing address mismatch — The billing address you enter must exactly match what your bank has on file. 

Incorrect CVV / security code — Make sure you enter the correct code. 3 digits on the back of most cards, 4 digits on the front for American Express.  

Expired card — Confirm your card hasn’t expired. (If the card expired, add a new card and remove the expired payment method)

Gift cards 

Gift cards can be used at any Carter’s or OshKosh B’gosh company‑owned store, as well as online at Carters.com | OshKosh.com | SkipHop.com.   

To use a gift card online, simply enter your gift card number and PIN during checkout. You may apply up to five gift cards per order. 

You can check the balance, and gift cards are available for purchase online and in stores.

Using a promo code 

1.Add eligible items to your bag (Clearance, doorbuster, Little Planet, Otter Avenue, and Skip Hop items are not eligible for most promotions) 

2. At checkout, enter the code in the Promo Code field and tap Apply. 

3.The discount will appear on your order summary before you place the order. 

If your code isn't applying: 

• The code may be case-sensitive, type it exactly as shown. 

• The code may have expired or hit its usage limit. 

• Items in your bag may not be eligible for the promotion. 

• Some codes require a minimum purchase amount. 

You can only use one promo code per order. 

Promotion terms and exclusions 

Most Promotions: 

• Are time-sensitive — check the expiration date on the offer 

• May apply only to select items and can include product exclusions 

• Cardholder-exclusive promotions may be offered to Carter’s cardholders and require payment using a Carter’s Card 

• Cannot be combined with other offers (unless the offer says so) 

Valid in Carter’s stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, or online at Carters.com (not valid on international orders). Limit one coupon per customer per day. Discounts are applied with dollar‑off savings before percentage discounts. 

Cannot be combined with other coupons or select promotions (including Grandparent Wednesdays or military discounts). Coupons are non-transferable and cannot be copied, altered, or redeemed for cash. 

Valid on merchandise only; excludes gift cards, services, taxes, shipping, and prior purchases. Sales tax applies. Discounts are applied proportionally to items, and returns will reflect the discounted price paid; coupon value is not refunded.

Buy One Get One (BOGO) offers 

When a BOGO offer is active, both the purchased and free items must be added to your cart at checkout; free items cannot be added after an order is placed. In most cases, items may be mixed and matched from participating products. The discount automatically applies to the lower-priced eligible item in your bag. 

Carter's Rewards & Birthday Surprise 

Receive a surprise birthday offer when you add your child to your account. You may add up to five children (age 14 or under) with their name and birth date. To qualify, you must be opted in to promotional emails, have made at least one purchase using your rewards account within the past 12 months, and have an account opened at least 30 days prior to your child’s birthday month. 

Birthday offers are sent via email during your child’s birthday month.

What we'll match 

If an item you bought goes on sale, we offer a one-time price adjustment per order for items purchased online within 14 days of purchase. The item must be in stock for shipping at the time of the request, and adjustments are applied at the order level. 

What's not eligible 

• Items purchased with a promo code that already applied a discount equal to or greater than the current sale price 

• Prices at other retailers
