Prices and promotions may differ online and in stores. We may offer merchandise on this Site at the same price at which it is offered in our retail stores, and our promotions may follow those that are in our retail stores. However, in some cases, the prices will be different because the Site and stores may choose to offer items at different prices or may run different promotional events at different times. For this reason, prices and promotions (e.g., promotion codes or free shipping) offered on this Site may not always apply in stores, and store prices and promotions (e.g., coupons or additional discounts) may not always apply on this Site, unless otherwise stated.

MSRP is our Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price at which we suggest our collections be initially offered. We list an MSRP on our products that we sell ourselves and that sell through our wholesale partners. Our wholesale partners are free to use our MSRP or set a different selling price. We generally introduce our new collections at MSRP on our website. Since MSRP is a suggested price, actual sales may or may not have been made at MSRP in any certain area or in all areas. Prices may vary by channel or location. 

Many of our collections have a DOB (Date of Birth) on the price tag or on their website product page. This is the date that this item or a similar item was originally offered for sale at the MSRP.

Price comparisons are made to the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”). MSRP is an estimate of the price at or above which these items have been offered or sold by retailers in the trade area, which may not include Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh and Skip Hop. Actual sales may not have been made at MSRP in all trade areas, and the MSRP price may not represent the average or prevailing market price at any particular time. Given the national scale of our offerings, our products may not be sold at MSRP in all locations. Because the MSRP may vary from retail prices in your area, you may want to make a comparison for yourself by checking the prices of other internet or local retailers prior to making a purchase. Percentage reductions are off of MSRP, except where noted.

Usually, Carters.com | OshKosh.com | SkipHop.com promotions and special offers have a code that you can type during checkout that will apply the particular offer or discount to your eligible purchase.

Before using any promotion, be sure to check its terms and conditions for specific guidelines and restrictions:

  • Some promotions are good only for certain items or contain product exclusions such as clearance, doorbuster, Skip Hop and Little Planet products.
  • Promotions may require a minimum purchase of qualifying items. Excluded items do not count toward minimum purchase.
  • Cardholder exclusive promotions may be offered to Carter’s cardholders and require that balance is paid using Carter’s Card.
  • Most promotions are time sensitive and contain an expiration date.

It’s easy to apply a code:

  • When you’re ready to complete your order, click on the shopping cart button.
  • In the Order Summary section of the shopping cart, you will see a field marked promo code. Please type in the active code that applies to your purchase. Please type the code exactly as it appears in the promotional materials. Avoid spaces or lower case letters. A good practice is to actually type the code, not cut and paste it from an email or webpage.
  • A message should appear confirming your coupon usage and deducting your discount from your order total.
  • If the message says a promotion can't be applied: This usually happens when a promotion has expired or can't be used with the items you want to purchase or you have not met the minimum purchase requirements (or items do not count towards minimum purchase). Read the promotion terms and conditions carefully to understand how the promotion can and can't be used.

Usually only one promotional code can be applied to each eligible order.

You can sign up to receive emails by creating a Carters.com | OshKosh.com | SkipHop.com account. Simply create an account for Carter’s to receive coupons and special offers available only to registered users.

Present and surrender coupon at time of purchase only at carter’s stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico or enter promo code at checkout on Carters.com. Online code not valid on international orders. One coupon per customer per day. Dollar-off discounts applied prior to percent off total purchase discounts. Coupon cannot be used in combination with any other coupon offers, Grandparent Wednesdays or special military discounts. Cannot be combined, copied, transferred or sold. Altered, duplicated, or reproduced coupons will not be accepted. Valid for merchandise only, not valid on gift card purchases, gift services, applicable taxes, shipping and handling charges, previous purchases, or redeemable for cash. Customer pays sales tax. Coupon discount will be applied as a percentage off each item in transaction. You will receive the price paid (after discount) on all returned or exchanged merchandise. The value of the coupon discount will not be refunded on returns or exchanges. Employees not eligible. Carter's reserves the right to modify or discontinue this offer at any time without notice. We will make a one-time (per order) price adjustment to the new online price for items purchased online within 14 days of purchase. Item must be in stock for shipping at the time of price match. Prices will be adjusted at the order level. To request a price adjustment for your online purchase, please email us.

At times, some products are marked as Buy One, Get One Free. To participate in buy one, get one savings, both the purchased item(s) and free item(s) must be added to your shopping cart at time of checkout. In most cases you may mix and match from participating products. Your free item(s) will be discounted in your cart. First item at MSRP. Additional item of equal or lesser value. Excludes select styles and clearance. We are unable to add free items after an order is placed.

Receive a surprise birthday offer for your kids when you add them to your account.

In your online account, you can add a birthday for up to five children. Give us their name, birthday date, month and year. Kids must be 14 or under. You must be opted in to promotional emails and have made at least one purchase from Carter's, OshKosh or Skip Hop using your rewards account info in the last 12 months to receive a birthday surprise. Limited to five redemptions per year per loyalty account.

You should get an email during the birthday month(s) listed under your account. It takes a moment to set up our system, so please give us up to two weeks after you update your account.
