I can see that. So I bought her these. She wears them under her dresses, and they're soft, comfortable, and now she can run around and play and still feel girly in her pretty dresses. Win-win!

    Is this combo black & pink? Do they run really small? Would the 7 be too small for an average sized girl?

    This is black and pink. If she is 48-51.5" tall and 50-59.5 lbs, the 7 would fit. You may want to look at the size chart under "kid"
