Stocking up your boy’s wardrobe with some solid basics will allow for quick and easy mixing and matching with bold patterns. Having some light jackets and tees for fun and easy layering will enable your kid to put together outfits for a variety of weather and temperatures by himself. Also, accessories like hats, belts and a jacket or coat for colder weather can complete a well-rounded wardrobe for a boy. 

When Should Your Toddler Move Up to Kids Sizes? 

When your little boy starts outgrowing his current clothing sizes and the clothes become too tight or short for him, it may be time to move up to kids sizes. It’s not always easy to notice right away, so if he is uncomfortable or restricted in movement in his current size, it may be a sign that he is ready for the next size up. It's important to regularly check the fit of his clothes and adjust as needed to ensure he is in the right size, especially with underwear, swimwear, pajamas, socks and shoes. Make it a habit to check them every 4-6 months, or whenever they say that their shoes are too tight.
