We’re listening and here’s what you’re asking!
Where is Carter’s located?
Our corporate headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia. For more
information, please call us at 888-782-9548.
Where can I buy Carter’s products?
Carter’s has more than 180 retail outlet stores in the United States.
To find a Carter’s store near you, please use our store
finder. Carter’s is also available in national retail stores including
Babies ‘R’ Us®, JCPenney's®, Kohl’s® and Sears®. Our
Child of Mine® brand of children’s apparel and accessories
is available exclusively in Wal-Mart® stores and our Just
One Year® brand is available exclusively
in Target® stores.
How do I return a Carter’s product?
The easiest way to return a product is to take it back to the store where it
was purchased. If that is not an option, or if you feel the product has a
manufacturing defect, please call our customer service hotline at 888-782-9548
or send an email to contactus@carters.com.
How does Carter's select children to photograph?
All of the children that appear in our communications
are referred to us by modeling agencies. If you
are interested in having your child model, we recommend
that you contact a reputable local or
national agency.
Why do your clothes say “wash before wearing” on the tag?
The garments are packaged in boxes as they’re transported to stores. The garments hang in a public place where they are handled and sometimes tried on. We think it just makes sense to wash them so they’re nice and fresh for your child.
Are your pajamas treated to prevent flammability?
Our polyester sleepwear is naturally flame resistant and does not require the addition of any fire retardant in order to meet the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s requirements.
Our 100% cotton sleepwear is not treated with a flame retardant either, but is tight fitting. The Consumer Product Safety Commission does not require tight fitting sleepwear to be flame resistant.
What can you tell me about what I’ve heard about babies getting rashes from tag-less labels?
