Return Policy
Like everything at Carter’s, Inc. our return policy is simple: if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it with your original packing slip, and we will exchange the item or refund your full purchase price, less shipping and handling. For your convenience, we accept returns for items purchased online by mail and also at any company-owned Carter’s or company-owned OshKosh B’gosh retail store in the United States.
Returns and Exchanges by Mail (Online Orders Only)
For the fastest return processing, use the return label supplied with your original packing documentation. Complete the form on the reverse side of your packing slip, and enclose it with your merchandise. Mail your shipment to:

Note: we cannot process returns purchased from our retail stores by mail.
Once we receive your shipment, we’ll process your exchange order or issue a credit in your original form of payment, less adjustments for shipping and handling. By using the prepaid return label, $6 will be deducted from your refund.
For exchanges it will be necessary for us to process your exchange as a refund followed by a new order. If you complete an exchange for the same item in a different color or size, we will waive the regular shipping charges for your exchange.
In-Store Returns or In-Store Exchanges
When returning or exchanging items at a Carter’s or OshKosh B'gosh company-owned store, store policies apply. Make sure to take your packing slip or purchase receipt, and the credit card used for your original purchase.
Please note that Carter’s brand clothing may only be returned to Carter’s stores, while OshKosh B’gosh brand clothing is only returnable to OshKosh B’gosh stores.
Returns or Exchanges With an Original Sales Receipt
The original purchase price will be honored for any item returned or exchanged with an original sales receipt. Purchases made by credit card must be credited back to the original card.
Returns or Exchanges Without an Original Sales Receipt
For in-store returns or exchanges without a receipt, a store credit in the amount of the current sales price of the merchandise will be awarded. All credits will be offered in the form of a Merchandise Credit that can be used at Carter’s or OshKosh B’gosh retail stores. To return your online purchases by mail for a refund, please include your name, billing address, phone number, order number (if known), and reason for return.
Even Exchanges
Even exchanges – exchanging an item for the same item in a different size, color, or as damage replacement – may be adjusted for price if the current selling price is less than the purchase price. Individual store policy will apply. There is no charge for exchanges in a Carter’s or OshKosh B'gosh company-owned store; shipping charges may apply for changes processed by mail.
Price Adjustments
A one-time price adjustment for items bought online to the new online price (or in store to the new in store price) will be honored if you call us within 14 days of purchase. Please call us at 877-333-0117 from 7am-11pm CST daily (except holidays) for assistance. You may also receive a price adjustment in Carter’s and OshKosh B’gosh company-owned stores within 14 days of purchase in-store or online.
